Without exception our sales and deliveries are governed by these terms and conditions. They apply to the use of the entire website www.dfordesire.com including the online boutique. Please read our terms & conditions carefully before using our website or placing an order.
1. INTRODUCTION
Every d for desire piece of jewellery is handcrafted and unique. We see the fact that no two pieces are alike – even if they follow the same design – as an advantage. Be reassured by the slight irregularities in size, shade and texture of the components. Please note that the majority of our semi precious gemstone beads are cut and polished by hand and may therefore show irregularities in shape, color and size. We source our materials only from trusted suppliers and deem authenticity and quality highly important.
We endeavour to thoroughly indicate the materials of which each of our products consists. We always use precious metals or precious metal alloys (such as 925 Silver, 9ct Gold, 14ct Goldfill*). *Goldfill is made by fusing a layer of 14ct gold to a suitable supporting metal or alloy. It wears like solid gold because its outer surface is solid gold and offers all the same physical characteristics as karat gold such as beauty, durability, and strength.
Goldfill is substantially thicker than the traditional gold plated jewelry.
2. ORDERING ONLINE
The indication of prices in our catalogues and on the internet sites is always without engagement. We reserve the right to change the information herein at any time and without prior notice. An order is seen as the offer to engage in a contract. Orders that are submitted via our internet site become valid when d for desire receives the electronic message. We will send you an email to confirm your order and this will form a legally binding contract between us. You have to be of legal age to sign a contract. All goods must be paid for in full prior to dispatch.
3. CONTRACT CANCELLATION and RETURNS
Please note that you are entitled to return the goods without stating reasons (thus cancel the contract) within a period of 14 working days after you have received the products, provided the goods are unused, in their original packaging and are in an impeccable condition. Please make sure you test your jewellery carefully in order not to scratch or wear it. The period starts with the receipt of goods. We cannot accept cancellations for custom made orders or worn goods.
In the case of withdrawal from the contract we will refund the full purchasing price as soon as the goods have been returned to us. D for desire aims to process returns at once. Usually the refund should take no longer than 21 days after checking of the received goods. In order to guarantee a smooth transfer of funds onto a non-Austrian bank account, we need you to provide us with a BIC and IBAN of the receiving bank account. Both codes can be obtained from your bank. Remittance or recipient bank charges have to be born by the purchaser.
You bear the cost of return of the goods and take responsibility until we have received them.
Damaged goods
In case you receive your order in a damaged condition, please contact us immediately via email hello@dfordesire.com or phone +43 699 111 80 703.
We will replace the items or refund the purchase price. The replacement or refund will usually take 21 days from the day we receive the returned goods. If you inform us within 7 days within receipt of the damaged goods, we will pay the cost of return. When sending the goods you have to use a method where you can register and track the item. If you don’t register and track, we cannot guarantee for replacement or refund.

4. PRICES
Prices displayed on our internet pages are valid. The prices refer to the respective and described jewellery piece and do not include delivery costs of any kind. The buyer has to take care of export or import duties possibly occurring during the process of delivery. We recommend you inform yourself on the import regulations of your country and costs that may arise, in order to prevent unpleasant surprises.
Prices are valid at the time of the order. Liability for errors, misprints, and omissions excluded.
5. DELIVERY
We will delivery of the goods to the address provided by you by registered standard mail. We endeavour to despatch the ordered goods as soon as possible. In case a delivery is not possible within 40 days, we will inform you immediately. We are not liable to compensate for a delivery delay. If a certain product is no longer available we are entitled to be released from the contractual obligation.
6. DELIVERY COST
D for desire charges €8 for standard delivery within EU countries only. For international (outside EU) standard deliveries, d for desire charges a standard fee of €10.
Please note that delivery fees are not included in any of our indicated prices.
Export or import duties or other charges that occur during delivery have to be paid by the purchaser. We recommend you inform yourself on the import regulations of your country and possible costs that may arise, in order to prevent unpleasant surprises.
7. PAYMENTS
You have the option to pay either via credit card, paypal or bank transfer. We consider security during payment transactions of utmost importance and therefore employ a highly reputable 3rd party hosting agent and payment provider to ensure the security of your personal data.

In order for us to process your purchase quickly, please state your name and order number in the reference field. Your goods will be shipped upon receipt of your funds. UK customers can pay in Pound Sterling if they wish. All other customers please make sure you always pay in Euro.
Payment via credit card
We accept credit card payment through the online payment solution provider Moneybookers (www.moneybookers.com). The amount will be deducted from your card as soon as we despatch the goods. Claims against us are non-transferable.
Payment via PayPal
PayPal is a safe and easy way to pay online. If you don’t have an account with PayPal yet, please visit www.paypal.com and follow the instructions. Setting up a PayPal account is free of charge.
Once you have transferred the purchase price including shipping cost to our PayPal account we will process your order. The goods will be shipped upon receipt of your funds.
8. RESERVATION OF TITLE
Until payment has been received in full, d for desire remains the owner of the goods.
9. LIABILITY
If the goods delivered to you are not the correct items you ordered or are defective or damaged we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us within 7 days of delivery of the said goods.
You must comply with, and observe all applicable legislation and regulations, including obtaining any relevant import permits to purchase goods from our site. We accept no liability for any goods purchased by you in respect of any local laws regarding the import of any goods you purchase from us.
We, any other party (whether or not involved in creating, producing, maintaining or delivering this Website), and the officers, directors, employees, stakeholders or agents of any of them, exclude all liability and responsibility for any amount or kind of loss or damage that may result to you or a third party (including without limitation, any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damages, or any loss of income, profits, goodwill, data, contracts, use of money, or loss or damages arising from or connected in any way to business interruption including but not limited to loss or damage due to viruses that may infect your computer equipment, software, data or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing this Website or your downloading of any material from this Website or any websites linked to this Website. With a purchase at d for desire you agree to receive our newsletter, which can be cancelled at any time and without reasons. The newsletter will inform you about news and current products. You will also find a button at the bottom of the newsletter, which will give you the option to unsubscribe.
During your visit on our website we can collect data about your access (date, time, viewed pages). These are not part of the personalized data. They are anonymous and will be merely be used for statistical analysis.

D for desire informs you that these terms and conditions may be amended at any time. Such amendments shall be published by means of putting them on line and shall be deemed accepted without reserve by any and all internet users accessing the Site after the said amendments have been put on line.
We shall not be in breach of these terms and conditions if any delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond our control; such as fire, industrial action, the breakdown of systems or network disruption, flood, accident, fire, explosion or any other case of force majeure.
